Hi Sigi and team Thank you for the Top Band new one. I was only home for a few days of your operation so I feel very lucky to have made a QSO. I was sorry to hear about the atmospheric noise you experienced on this trip on the low bands. You should not be dissapointed - well done on a fantastic job, especially on RTTY. Phil G4OBK

WOW!!!

From: Gary Dixon - K4MQG - Oct 9, 2007
Hello 9U0A operators. Just wanted to say congratulations on a really fine operation. For such bad band conditions you fellows generally had a great signal on 80-17 Meters here in SC. Glad you brought a lot of excitement to the bands. 73, Gary, K4MQG

From: Chris - M0PSK - Oct 8, 2007
Many thanks for a new country! We have seen consistently good signals from 9U0A in the UK on 17M and 20M. I worked you today (08/10/07) at 13:30 on 17M PSK31, but I think you copied my call as M0PSB, instead of M0PSK. Perhaps you could change that in your log? Thank you all for your superb efforts to make rare DX countries available to a wider ham audience. Vy 73 de Chris.
From: Chris - W0BKR - Oct 8, 2007
Heard you for the first time very well on 3.5 CW on Sunday, 7 October. Never had a chance to work you as the station went QRT for unknown reasons. We in the midwest need you on CW. Can you listen for us and not just work East Coast? Tough go from here.

From: Dave - W4QCU - Oct 6, 2007
Thanks for the new one (# 327)on 80 meters. 9U was the last country on mainland Africa. Propagation was not good for me, even with a decent vertical and receiving antennas. Your signal would pop out of the noise for a minute, then nothing. In comparison, I copied 5R8RJ very well every night. Thanks for not giving up. 73 de Dave Oak Ridge, Tennessee
From: Russ - WA2VQV - Oct 6, 2007
Thanks for the QSO, the OP had great "ears" to hear my 17 Meter 75 watt signal from an attic mounted 3 foot diameter mini-loop! Good Luck and safe home.

UR PILEUPS ARE VERY UNRULY AND THATS AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF UR OPERATION. THIS IS MAINLY ON THE LOWER BANDS - GUD LUCK AND HAVE FUN --ROD WI8A
From: Fernando - EA8AK - Oct 6, 2007
ESTREMELY DIFFICULT qso. Probablym, "my new one" on 160 with a bigest difficulty I ever worked, due to not only the QRN but also a very deep QSB. Fortunately, no body put 'd you on the cluster and there wasn't LIDs on your transmiting frequency. Anyway, thanks a lot and CONGRATULATION!!!! Be carefully fellows, Burundi (and Bujumbura) is a dangerous place. Best 73, Fernando EA8AK

You had a decent signal on 20m on 10/5/07 at 2300 UT. Lots of QRM but I think I got in your log. It sounded like you copied KD9BST instead of KB9BIT. I will try again when the conditions are quieter. Thank you for the QSO and 73.

GOOD SIGNAL IN PUERTO RICO IN RTTY, GOOD LUCK
From: Thomas - DK7NU - Oct 4, 2007
From: Peter - DO2TC - Oct 4, 2007

Thanks for the 80mx (2011z 2/10) CW qso - when you came up at 2008z your signal was already dropping down on the east coast VK - signal stayed audible until 2030z - best time for 80mx and 160mx would appear to be earlier from 1930z till 2000z, based on previous expeditions to 9U, 9X and 5X at similar times of the year - I hope we can make it on 160mx also - cheers
From: Andy - SP6AEG - Oct 3, 2007

3517 is not a good frequency as we have very strong commercial burst from the North Sea covering you up - on top of all the tuners/jammers !! Tough life ! A little lower will help. Also to qsy abt 100 Hz from time to time to get off zero-beat with the tuners ! 73 Rag
